Nunn Consulting, Inc. was founded in 1987 by Phillip and Yolanda Nunn out of an interest to help enrich the quality and longevity of nonprofit organizations. The company has a working philosophy of excellence through collaboration and is organized around four guiding principles:

A Brief History

Nunn Consulting, Inc., was developed out of an interest to assist nonprofit organizations secure, retain and manage government and private funding. With the collapse of funding streams in the late '80s and '90s, nonprofit organizations faced significantly more challenges acquiring and managing financial resources. In addition, administrators of organizations lacked sufficient human resources to allocate the personnel required to obtain and manage critical funding.

After initial work with nonprofit organizations it became apparent that identifying and retaining funding was only one part of the equation for successful nonprofit organizations. Nunn Consulting, Inc. shifted strategic focus from resource development and evaluation to concentrating on developing organizational infrastructures to make strong agencies. This shift help to position Nunn Consulting, Inc. as a leader in nonprofit management and development. We understood the resource needs of nonprofit organizations, faith-based organizations, private foundations and educational institutions. We work closely with clients to produce meaningful results.

Nunn Consulting, Inc. emphasizes organizational development and management as an effort to strengthen organizations that are meeting vital human needs. It is the philosophy of Nunn Consulting, Inc. to provide excellent, quality services by establishing partnerships with the client organization to ensure that eh needs of the client are met.

As an independent resource, we bring approaches to management needs that are complimented by state-of-the-art techniques. Nunn Consulting, Inc. offers excellent practical solutions, insights and fresh perspectives to management issues. We place a high priority on working with agencies to plan and reach self-sufficiency. Our goal is to assist clients in achieving meaningful long-term results.
